Job Description
The Personal Lines Associate Agent at Crosby Allstate is responsible for creating new customer relationships using our robust lead system by conducting specific sales and marketing activities. In addition, the Associate Agent handles personal lines insurance coverage inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism through daily interaction with customers, insurance carriers, and fellow employees.

We are a fun, growing Allstate Pro Agency and have an opening for a Personal Lines Insurance Associate Sales Agent to join our award-winning sales team at the Crosby Agency. As a licensed sales representative, you will primarily be soliciting and writing new Personal Lines insurance policies from both inside and outside of our book of business along with servicing our existing customers.

Responsibilities 
  • Make outbound calls and answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies as well as administrative duties such as answering phones.
  • Work with prospects to pre-qualify and understand their needs, gather necessary data, research policy options, present options, finalize and bind new coverage, cancel prior policies, and negotiate with carriers when necessary.
  • Set appointments and/or client calls to review existing policies, revise liability limits, explore other coverage needs, evaluate replacement costs and round out accounts.
  • Consult with customers to provide detailed information about products and services, quote new business, take payments, and provide requested service. 
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.

Qualifications
  • Hold the Personal Lines insurance license required by your state or have the ability to obtain one with coursework and training provided by our agency
  • Highly motivated and enjoys being rewarded for your efforts

  • Able to influence and connect with people
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner; display strong written and verbal communication skills as well as possess excellent communication skills. Able to accurately perform simple math calculations.
  • Able to solve complex problems without direct supervision.
  • Have a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.  (Zoom, WebEx, Excel, Word, Outlook, and productivity applications). Ability to type. 
  • The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.

 
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
